I don't play crucible, so in this scenario I would only be able to get two exotics.

The point is to entertain. I don't find PvP very entertaining. Me not having another method of getting exotics isn't necessarily a bad thing. I would just play without exotics. It's a self imposed limit, so I wouldn't complain about it or blame anyone else. Thankfully, Bungie has given me, and anyone like me, other methods of gaining exotics.
