It's not unreasonable or unexpected to see so many people complaining about Exotic nerfs in light of the amount of work they put in to get those Exotics. No, they're not "entitled" to anything, but Bungie is not doing a very good job of supporting a fun and rewarding experience when they make changes like that to the game.
