My fellow Titans:
Let me set the scene for you;
You're just wondering around, capturing some points in control, when you decide that popping your Ward of Dawn is a good idea.
Good?
Great.
Now you have a viable way to defend the objective for a short period of time until it goes away.
..and by 'goes away' I mean that some cocky Hunter or a snotty Warlock has come along, used their respective Super Charge and now, 3 seconds after you popped it up to relax under with a spot of Titan Tea, you are sat naked, alone, and wondering where your dead teammates are.
Can any of my brothers relate?
Can anyone offer a suitable explination as to why [i]our[/i] super is the weakest? When it is currently the only subclass that really promotes strategy.

Edit: This thread was made with a fun little theme to it to try and avoid all the usually negativity on these forums, so thanks for everyone for keeping it civil.
Edit 2: I have the saint-14 helm, and usually do very well within my precious bubble. It just makes me a sad little Titan when the super gets taken down by another super.
Edit 3: Im not saying that it shouldn't be taken down when a super is used against it. What I am saying is that it shouldn't kill everything inside. The warlock and hunter supers currently just fly through it as if it wasn't there.

I just think that if enemies enter the bubble their movement speed is slowed down tremendously and they take damage

But alas before he can finish the sentence his bubble lays ruined around him, victim of the Nova Bomb just unleashed upon it. The Warlock gracefully glides back down to ground and blows imaginary dust from her hand. The Titan approaches furiously. Titan: "How dare you!?" Warlock: "Was pretty magnificent wasn't it? Titan: "It was magical." Warlock: "You're magical." Titan: "I love turtles." Warlock: "So do I. Kiss me already you fool!" They embrace passionately. From out of nowhere a Hunter uncloaks and Bladedances both of them into the void. Hunter: "Filthy buggers. This is the Crucible for god's sake." The Hunter gets sniped from behind by a fellow Hunter and so the circle of life in the Crucible continues. I'd be more than happy if my shield could survive a hit from a nova bomb, especially considering you have to step out of the shield to kill someone (except those that enter it, no idea why you do that)

WHY NOT JUST THE BUBBLE? THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE. THE BUBBLE SHOULD GIVE US AMMO OR SOMETHING, IT DOESNT GIVE US SHIT EXCEPT A SHIELD WHICH IS ACTUALLY KINDA USEFUL BUT OTHER SUBCLASSES GET A LOT MORE BENEFITS, ITS NOT LIKE WE CAN SHOOT THROUGH THE BUBBLE WHICH SOUNDS FAIR SO WHY DO WE ONLY GET A SHIELD OR WEAPONS OF LIGHT. My only problem I get when I pop my bubble is warlock and their nova bomb, it would better if it just took out the shield instead of shield nuke and violently -blam!- those hiding inside!

After many times of guardians destroying me bubble while i was inside and died, only twice did i execute an epic move that killed the bugger. Pulling off awesome moves to counter an attack of me bubble feels so good. I know people who kills a titan in his own bubble feels awesome, but for me to kill those who have used their supers to destroy me inside my bubble,.... Is even more rewarding.

Since the bubble is purely defensive I don't get why a warlock can counter it. That doesn't seem to make since. The best way to buff it would just be blocking a nova bomb from penetrating the bubble (it would destroy only the shield instead). Hunters are annoying but the shield would be op if it stopped them from coming in with arc blade.

A good strategy for any class is to wait to use your super. Don't use it immediately as soon as you get it, especially if it's the first time in a match. After the first time you recieve your super, count the amount of supers that the other team uses. Once you've seen four or five enemy players use their super, chances are that they've all used their super. Congratulations, due to your patience, you may now place a Ward of Dawn and it will be much harder for them to get you. Watch out for Warlocks though, they might suicide by running into your ward and deploying a DoT grenade.

Personally, I think it's freaking epic, and flattering when another takes down my ward. They feel like I'm unbeatable and thus tries to take down my shield, kill me... And fail horridly

10 RepliesHere's my suggestion, please read. The "bubble", or ward of dawn, is meant for defensive purposes. But, to those who say that, don't you use your super charge for defensive purposes even if its mostly an offensive super charge? Yes, yes you do. The bubble needs a way to be offensive, weapons of light/ blessing of light is not suitable for PvP. My recommedation? Allow the bubble to kill players that are in the radius of the bubble being activated. It will work the way the cabal use their shields on you by pushing you away. I hope you people like this..
