Your best and worst RNGesus moments in Destiny
Yesterday I managed to get a few hours in on Destiny, I completed the nightfall and got to the start of the Atheon encounter in the VoG on hard mode. For the nightfall I was generously rewarded with six strange coins (last week I got Proxima Centauri II for the third time) and for beating the Templar I received TWO Praedyth's Revenge sniper rifles. The same sniper rifle I have already had twice.
Never even smelt this raid gear people talk of... 'Tis surely a myth, urban legend passed down throughout the ages...
I have received one blessing from RNGesus and was surprised to see a Plan C drop from a Legendary engram I got from doing the Daily on Monday... This caused a moment of hysteria and wild celebration... My first exotic drop.

My best and worst have both happened in the same week. Best would be Sunday night, I was playing crucible with some buddies. I was doing completely terrible. The whole game my dudes saying "Man.. I really wish I had Suros Regime!" Over and over again. Finally the end comes, we lost, and he says it one last time. Then BAM!! Out of -blam!-ing nowhere it drops for me! We all went nuts! He almost in unfriended me. HahA Worst is easily me getting the same chest the past two weeks on my exotic chest engrams.

Plus i got the last word, corrective measure, found verdict, praedyths revenge lol Finally after getting shards and energies every other week.. id say i got pretty lucky

Two warlocks have done hard raid/Normal Raid about 16+ times only have gotten the helmet YIPPPY i have 150 shards and 100 energies

Best - got icebreaker from raid chest, then an icebreaker from nigthfall, then another icebreaker from tiger strike. on the same day. Worst - xur sold icebreaker that week.

Best moment was 8 legendary engrams in a single day (before patch obviously). 2 from loot cave in the period of about 10 mins, 1 from a chest, 1 from crucible, 2 from random drops, 1 from cryptach rank up and last one from a strike (I think). Worst moment is completing the raid for the fourth time (3 on warlock and 1 on titan) and not receiving any raid gear for either character. 4 raids and not a single piece of raid gear.

Best: Getting an Exotic Hunter helmet after finishing the Nightfall Worst: Getting the Super POX VLO for 2 Nightfalls in a row and getting only Shards and Energies during my first and only Raid

Was doing patrol Mars bounty and a legendary dropped. When I went to Cryptarch he gave me Red Death. Next turned in the bounty and got an Exotic Bounty for Thorn. All because of that one Patrol Bounty.

Best: Getting my First exotic on the saturday of the Release week which was The [i]universial remote[/i] ([i][u]that sexual feeling[/u][/i]) Worst: Getting ascendant Energy THE WHILE DUCKING TIME instead of shards

Best: I hit rank 5 with Rahool: legendary pack gave me a legendary: cloak, shader, astrolord armor, scout rifle. I never had one purple before that. Second best: while doing strikes for bashing bounty Rahool gave me red death from a purple drop. I hate to say it but he has been good to me. I probably had 80+ hours in and level 24 before the good luck started.

Worst: Getting an awful Rocket Launcher from This weeks nightfall. Best: Getting my Monte Carlo from the raid this week. It was instantly my new favorite gun.

Best moment has been buying a xur engram and getting my alpha lupi chest. Was the one exotic piece of armor I wanted. Worst has been nightfall, done it every week solo or with a partner every week except the first I did it with three people. Haven't gotten any exotic rewards or ascendant materials that numbered more then 5-6. Except last week I got a second Suros regime. Ah well I kept one unleeled for full auto ADS.

2 RepliesA new one to add to my best: leveled crypt arch to 41, got a postmaster package, had a legendary heavy engram and 2 rares. Legendary became exotic Truth rocket launcher. So glad I didn't waste coins on Xur for it.

Worst: VoG twice now. I have pradyth's revenge and ~30 more ascendant energy. Best: Played first mission with a friend. One shotted the first shank. Super Pox Volo.

Best was receiving Mytho for my first hard atheon kill, and why I shouldn't call it the worst it was certainly the most frustrating to see my 5 fellow raiders all take exotics from the chest before the labyrinth and walk away with shards myself...

I also recieved back to back praedyth revenge sniper rifles yesterday for oracle and Templar checkpoints , now I wouldn't mind but I've already gotten 3. We need a better system where we have a chance at a different weapon everytime we recieve one or just give us a special coin to trade in to gunsmith to pick a raid weapon .
