You've got it backwards: we need PvE in the Crucible. So that sometimes when you're about to blow some dudes up with a rocket in Clash a Shank will fly in front of you and just blow yourself up instead. That would be awesome.

I agree, it would be. Especially with the huge size of PvE areas, you'd have a lot of potential for small and large team tactics. Imagine a rivalry between two clans that turns into a land war at the Hellmouth. One clan has superior numbers but the other gets the drop on them with snipers hidden in the dunes and ambush squads in the buildings. Suddenly, reinforcements roll in on stolen Pikes and begin to rout the enemy, but a crashed warsat brings an influx of Fallen and neutral Guardians into the war zone, throwing the whole area into confusion. My idea was more sparked by seeing dropships cruising around near the Crucible maps (which are supposedly under solid Tower control) and thinking how neat it would be if you're trying to take a flag in Control but you're having to watch both for the other team and for the three Minotaurs that just warped in around the corner.

That was kind of my point in illustrating it. Because it's a cool idea.

And I agree with ya!^-^
