so why don't you bitch about your car manufacturer? the car you are driving looks nothing like its prototype. lets hate on them for changing it.
changes happen. Destiny is what it is. take it for face value and enjoy it. pondering what could have been is like living in the past.

Yea but they don't advertise the prototype as what you are buying a year later, so that's a pretty bad comparison. Game is bad, you can't justify this atrocity.

the prototype would be equal to a teaser trailer. and so on. where was it stated in any video, beta, ad that what you are seeing is final product?

Changes do happen. In destiny's case, all of the changes were horrible. They dumbed the shit out of this game so they could appeal to a younger and dumber audience. This is why they took out trading and gambling. This is why they gutted the story. This is why they reduced the factions into vendors. This is why you have monotonous and boring patrol. etc......

Alright here's my own analogy: a car company comes out and tells the world there new car has 50 mpg, can go 120 mph, and it comes with seat Warmers on stock models. The cars released and it has 25 mpg, can only go 90 Mph, but still has the seat Warmers, although you'll have to pay 35 dollars for them ("cough"dlc"cough) it's a pretty average car, one you may still like, but it's not the car they advertised.

You are correct about the car but where did they ever say exactly what was to be in the game. Saying the game will be vast and will have a rich story is a description not a fact about the game. If they had said you will hav 50 hours of play ability in the game and there was only 10 they you have false advertising.

(The titles something like Destiny my little itch in case it dosen't pop up) But anyways, this guy did a good job of putting together a bunch of pre-release trailers showing content that isn't in the game. Some of it's just him rambling on, but most of its actual footage and quotes from the destiny staff.

(Just got it to work, check it out if you still want to) In a way you're right, but bungie went out of its way to show off a lot of content that just isn't available in the final product. A fifth planet, completely different leveling system, and a cutscene that isn't even remotely related to the story. They made it seem a lot more than it is.

I really think we will see all of this in time and the only things they have changed is how the content will be distributed. For example when i look at the story I did not expect to have the full idea I expected exactly what we got. The reason why is simple they told us this is to be a 10 year story line and they already had the dlc for pre order the day the game was released. Also if you look at the story its exactly what a good writer does to get people interested in the story they leave you asking questions with no real end until you get the next part. Dont for get the strangers last line to you, "so ends all the beginnings"

Another one of the strangers lines was "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain". Honestly, there wasn't enough of a story to begin with. I was thoroughly confused with practically all of it. Even after I read the grimoire, very little made sense. I'm okay with paying 60 dollars for the first chapter if that chapters AMAZING, but there's just not enough for it to be comparable to the game they advertised. (Sorry for the late response, busy day)

i have seen more interaction on these forums from bungie than any other developer. maybe they are waiting until they have a solid answer before answering. because all hell will break loose if they answer wrong or have to change something, cough, story line, cough. yes we all have a right ot complain. just the same shit over and over gets old. keep it in one thread, it will get far more attention then 100 with only a few posts each. be constructive, not destructive. all i am getting at is people are blowing things way out of proportion. most complaints aren't game breaking, just nit picky things.
