Interesting that there are 9 myths about the nine.
Also, its interesting to note that the Grimoire notes that the traveler isnt that big ball, that that is its prision/shell it must carry with it between the stars. So the travelers dark mirror could be much smaller.

Agreed. Even the speaker has some comment about the weight the traveler must now carry. But, then we have that mission on the moon where the Hive is draining light from the traveler through a shard broken off this shell. That alludes to the possibility that is is part of the traveler in some way. As though it's consciousness is woven into the shell. Perhaps it's the only thing that can give the traveler physical form.

True. Though it could be like vodoo where you need something that belongs to the other to use the spell. Its hard when science borders on magic.

Or it could be that the nine are the ones that inprisoned the traveler in the first place, people all ways look at it as the light is were the traveler is and not that it is dark were he has been

Ive always wondered whether the traveler visited the other races, raised them to intergalactic level then left, at which point the races society collapsed, and so they chase the traveler, each time a new race is added, till the caught up on earth, and tried to force the traveler back. It would explain why they have neither destroyed the traveler completely, nor returned to their origin space. Also would make sense why these 'minions of darkness' fight each other. The nine might be the remnants of one of these races who choose less direct methods to get what they want.

Could be that pal, i kinda think there is somthing more sinister about the traveler, sure he bought technology and knowledge threw the galaxy, but what is it he took in return?, something is very wrong about the traveler and the speaker, i think he consumed what ever he needed then moved on to the next planet and this is how the out ring planets became in the darkness
