I didn't even know there was exclusive armor. I'm used to games giving them to you at the beginning, are level 1, and only good for a few levels or so.

That would have been better than this, because at least then they would have a purpose and people could/would use them, albeit briefly. But yes, like the exclusive exotics Monte Carlo and Hawkmoon, there are also exclusive armor sets that frankly are the best looking armor sets in the game. They hyped them up a lot leading up to release, but now they're so useless that people like you don't even realize they exist.
