I get what you're saying but that is not the same. Halo expanded on it's lore with the books etc. on top of it's story and lore that you got in game. You didn't need to read the books to know what was going on. In destiny you do have to read the grimoire cards because you get nearly no story and lore in the game itself. I don't mind reading the cards, mind you. But a little more lore in the story missions wouldn't have hurt.
