How long are you talking about?
I stay on the Tiger playlist and sometimes I have to go piss or smoke and usually catch up by the time they're approaching the first restricted area. Sorry, I just carried 2 scrubs through 8 consecutive strikes and I need a quick break. I've come back and heard the other chumps badmouthing me, only to double their Kills by the end of the match.
You people always wanting to Report other players is ridiculous. Your petty, self-righteous attitudes will only serve in getting you slapped in the mouth by somebody with real problem solving skills.

Edited by Rynoceros: 10/21/2014 1:26:58 AMThat's the question - What is too long? It's subjective. Is a refill rude? To some people it is. A 3 minute cigarette? I don't mind, I'll take the extra kills while they get their head right. A 30 minute deuce? Oh, hell no. But, maybe one of my Fireteam members is the other guy keeping up - and he's not scared to run a simple PvE with 2 people. If it looks that bad by the time you've completed the first wave of hostiles, back out. If he's legitimately AFK, it'll screw them over more immediately and effectively than a spam level report on a gamertag.

Taking a few minutes is totally fine, i don't report on that. But if your smoke-break takes 12 minutes and I see you're still in the beginning of the map when we're at the last boss, yeah you're getting reported.

I get that. I have mixed feelings myself. I like knowing me and some other random just basically dragged our 3rd man along and didn't even need him. Then again, sometimes we need that AFK douchenozzle and I curse his family's name, but it's just not in me to run to the fun police (or real ones) or really give 2 pieces of feces about what somebody else is doing.

A strike takes about 20 minutes and you have to take a smokebreak?
-
Between Strikes, while active in matchmaking (which itself can take 5 minutes or 30 seconds, you never know.)
-
You could just wait to start the strike until after you piss. The matchmaking doesn't take that long

I usually have enough time to get back before we deploy. This isn't always the case, as sometimes you can get right into the next Strike with minimal wait. Sometimes, it takes 5 minutes and I have plenty of time. I've heard of these lame World Police wannabes reporting people for going through Strikes too fast and others for reporting people for going too slow and killing all of the non-mission NPCs. It's just a bunch of entitled, crybaby, care bears tattling every time somebody else doesn't play the way they want. I feel worse for the poor chumps that have to pan through all of that rubbish.
