Get better net. And saying "other games play fine" does not win your argument. So don't go down that road. Who is your ISP? What kind or results do you get on http://www.speedtest.net. ??

To be honest with you, anything over a 3 Mbps download, .4 Mbps upload is sufficient for on-line gaming. I work for an ISP and deal with this type of thing more often than I would like to admit. I'd be more concerned with your NAT type than anything. Are you behind a NAT with your ISP? Does your ISP prioritize protocols on their network? If so, bandwidth could cause an issue if say, video has higher QoS than gaming, and someone starts streaming some NetFlix, Hulu, etc. Are you behind a hardware firewall (many home routers have this feature)? Have you DMZ'd the Internal IP of your console and forwarded necessary ports to that IP? If you are behind a NAT with your ISP, have you contacted them to see if they can DMZ an Internal IP for your router and then walk you through configuring your router to use this IP as a Static IP? @BLiTZ, So many factors come into play, not just bandwidth and latency... So many networking factors are out of Bungie's hands, but blaming this issue on bandwidth results (or the lack thereof) from a speed test is pure stupidity. You do realize they don't mean shit anyways? It is only an accurate test to see if you are getting the speeds you should be getting from your ISP. Why do you think the closest server is used on most speed tests? To reduce latency across networks and typical network congestion that would ultimately impact the results of a speed test. Someone can do a speed test and get 30 Mbps (to the closest server), yet get a third of that to Destiny servers. Learn the basics about networking prior to making replies that make you look like an idiot on someone else's post. Wired vs Wireless is such a vague factor in most networks. You MAY see a very small amount of speed loss over a wireless network vs a wired one, but only when you have a cheap ($20-$25 router), any low/mid-range $45 home router (Netgear, Linksys, DLink) and you will hardly notice a difference unless the signal strength between the console and router is utter shit. Wireless networks are just prone to interference and overlapping channels which can cause issues, but if that was the case then these people would be having issues on EVERY game. After all, other devices causing the interference due to overlapping channels are not going to care wtf game is being played ;)

  • Prove it. Who is your provider? Are you on WiFi or Ethernet? What kind of speedtest results do you get? For the last time

I don't need to. You asking for a speed test doesn't "win" your argument. Reply to this and you're a dumbass.

  • I should leave? Me? Who was using profanity? Not me. This other lagger guy is just butt hurt that his hamster net isn't stable enough for Bungie's servers. Good job Bungie. Keep these laggers out.

  • You know, i am one of the people who is having trouble with the destiny servers, my stable 55mbps download and 10mbps upload doesn't seem to help the fact that i cant play at all because i keep being flooded with error codes. Please keep to yourself with these unnecessary comments.

  • Yes and i know all the packet loss problems that can entail, the fact remains that i am in a setup that doesnt allow ethernet, and before the last patch, everything was working fine. Now would you kindly stop making generalisations about the people who are being affected by bungie's servers or lack there of.

  • Thank you for starting to use your brain. There is a solution for you. Look up Home Plugs. They are very effective. WiFi is crap. Don't kid yourself.
