So for you to call me a pog is like saying all 0313 are pogs as well.

You're right I have no idea what an LAV Mech is. I have no clue as to what they do bc they certainly don't ride in the pig and hop out to fix blown planetarys and diffs when crewman don't do PMCS. No clue. At all. What. So. Ever.

It wasn't cool but it was an in game mechanic therefore it should be do able.

And the problem became looking at post everyone just wanted atheon hard save and never wanted to do the rest of the raid bc they didn't have the skill and team to do it. just for a chance at the vex and helmet. Can guarantee next raid they will test a lot to make shure no cheating ways to win.

Not cheating either using game mechanics and utilizing the environment was one of Bungie's biggest statement was that they couldn't wait to see what we could do and when they see us utilize their mechanics to the fullest and then remove them? That was a lie upon their part and the templar pillar fight again another mechanic used in game it was a playable area. I don't care about the patch I can fight it either way its not hard but its worryful if the gamers should even share anything they do with their games mechanisms with bungie because they go back on their word countless times.

I can kill someone does that make it ok just because I'm able to do it. No it doesn't. If it was ok to push him off bungie would not have stopped it. You break the rules you go to jail. You break from the way bungie wants you to fight the boss and cheating your way through it. Bungie will change it so there way is the only way. And when I refer to cheating it's the people who just beat atheon and not the rest of the raid. No more are people going to let some random join them at atheon so they can have a chance at the vex and helmet. That was bungie real reason for doing it. If the group that made it there through the rest of the raid decided to push him off so be it but those groups may have done it once for laughs like my group did but the rest of the time we tried to keep Templar from teleporting and seeing how fast we can kill atheon.

No the real world has absolutely no relevance to a game and clearly you immerse yourself so far you cannot tell the difference.

POG..... Just kidding, same here. On a serious note, while I don't have an issue with pushing Atheon off the edge, given that you can fall too, I can understand why they would want this patched. I'm honestly more surprised that it took this long.

Not really. Somebody found a way to kill a boss with minimal effort. I suppose next the Gjallarhorn Trick will get patched because it bypasses dozens of rage inducing attempts to kill Atheon?

Someone found a glitch. That it's all. Pushing Gjillahorn however, is a rocket launcher that tracks with a high spread damage. Being able to focus all the damage into one large target is a common occurrence with those types of weapons. All coming from multiple different games and game types.

Even without galahorn it should only take 4-5 teleports on hard 2-3 on normal

With Gjallarhorn it takes 17 seconds.
