I'm more curious about how they plan to release DLC. According to their initial plans, there will be a 2-year gap between Destiny and Destiny 2. After a year we should've seen a big expansion to fill the 2-year gap. Now that they've announced 2 DLC packs, of which The Dark Below will be released in december, how will they handle that gap? Any word on when the second DLC will be released? And what about that big expansion? Is that still coming but being kept secret? Because the 2 DLC packs are not enough to keep the attention of the majority of the community for 2 years. Btw, where do people get the idea that this game has to last 10 years? Destiny as a franchise is meant to last 10 years, not the game we have now.

I don't see Destiny 2 being as big a hit as Destiny. Bungie and Activision have upset the fan base with an incomplete game with a poor excuse for a story. It seems as though Bungie/Activision thought the PvP and gunplay mechanics would carry the game. I guess they didn't realize the majority of their fan base wanted an epic story to dive into and not have to wait for several months for small increments of new content while being charged for it. I don't mind DLC content and season passes but give us more than want we got to begin with.
