If they actually have to go out to "hunt" in order to earn their kills....isn't that more skill based than the rest of the panic supers??? If a titan is dumb enough to hit no1 with his super, how are other classes to blame? -U can kill a hunter easily after using his super making waste it and getting no kills. Panic other supers or see 2 or more close together and its an easy matchup for foh and nova bomb -potential to chain kills as a hunter is never a guarantee, its much easier to activate a super and get kills in an area of effect -hunters can't earn more kills after dying using their super, titans and warlocks have perks allowing their supers to keep killing afterwards -hunters don't just use their supers whenever they're about to die to get a super kill or in any siruation, its always a thought out action to maximize potential -good players will make the most of potential rather than newb friendly supers with said traits, hunters being near the top of leaderboards only shows good players don't need to rely on panic actions and are far more tactical players; why wouldn't they be at the top? Btw convinience of use has a lot to do with it, all supers are fine. Long time crucible player

  • You act like it's hard to find cover, or people in crucible. I perfer more objective based PvP so i normally play control. Map dependent of course, most people head to B, and there are choke points people have to go through. So you head to B, make sure enemy's are around, pop your super and go. I don't see how that is very hard. On a side note, I don't use my lock's, or titan's supers as a panic button either. I "hunt" groups out to try to make it more efficient. With hunter it doesn't matter if people are grouped up or not as long as there is enough around.

  • I've already replied to a previous post (it seems like a new post about OP'ed hunters every 2 hours) on this same topic but I have give support to your post (and posts like yours) because too many people seem to not realize that once you see a glowing blue or yellow dude just run (most times you can't out run a titan FoH or warlock NB). There have been countless times a bladedancer or golden gunner has been around when a teammate and I are near each other and we both scatter and fire shots at them and he/she just falls over and dies. You can't take down a bladedancer or golden gunner by yourself but you probably can't take down anybody using a super by yourself unless you're lucky or you're extremely good while the opposing player is bad. I'm not a hunter either. I'm a pretty bad PvP player who mainly plays warlock and even I realize that I should run when I see glowing guys and run when I see bubbles.

  • Warlock here, specifically a Sunsinger. You are right that a Hunter has to plan out their super while the Striker and Voidwalker do have panic supers, but the problem with Hunters is that the Golden Gun is super underpowered and completely useless when lag occurs and Blade dancing is hated because of the distance that a Hunter can travel to kill one person. Yes, you can stop a bladedancer with a shotgun to the face, but people are just stupid and panic cause they believe they'll just completely die. Everything is dependent on how you play in the crucible and people who don't know how to avoid these unnecessary deaths will always complain that hunters are OP. TL;DR: Their supers can easily be avoided and if anything, Hunters are kind of underpowered. You guys just cause unnecessary deaths cause you don't know but I forgive you.

  • Sooooo hunters super isn't newb friendly? It's the easiest to get kills with and you can run across the entire map lol

  • Theres no ranged retaliation, u can't really run around the map as it deactivates, its not a panic super, u HAVE to seek out your kills, more input commands than other supers, zero panic reliability, high exposure, and the super isn't suitable for most situations That & what i wrote above, played so much crucible as both a BD and countering it to know what I'm talking about. Its much easier to play as a warlock, much easier. Ppl complaining about it have no idea what its like playing with it or can think fast enough without panicking to deal with them. If u try to call e out on relying on my super, u can check my stats in destinytracker. I rarely use it and rely in it unlike players in other classes :U its only a tactical advantage at times

  • its not the easiest to get kills with if you even have an ounce of common sense. lets compare shall we? for hunters you first have to find enemies (because timers), take some measure for the wind up (if you use it in the middle of your enemies your gonna get blowd up), press the super buttons, aim and get kills for titans and warlock and you simply find people and press the super button which is easier? a 5 year old could figure this shit out, youre embarassing

Or just as hunter deploy super then run across the map and kill 3 people, enemies don't need to be around at all to use it effectively. It also auto locks onto enemies, you barley need to aim. Just spam the melee and it finds the targets for you. Titans you need to find enemies (in a group if you're lucky) and get pretty close unless you use the front wave perk. You embarrass yourself.

  • That's so silly. With how CC all the maps are, combined with the fact that you have persistent radar on everyone within 200 feet of you, your point is moot. Hunters supers are op. The stats prove it. I WISH I could use more skill with super, but it's just a suicide smash most of the time and I'm lucky to get 2 kills.

  • The stats prove that more people play hunters, thus hunters get more kills. Learn how stats work and then come back to us. The simple fact is, and people like refuse to admit it, is that the hunter has the ~potential~ to get more kills if the user is smart. And they have to be, because they have no panic option. A Titan or Warlock can turn a corner, get owned, and then panic spam a super to ensure one or two kills with zero effort. A hunter trying the same trick will find himself pointing at the sky to powerup as somebody blasts him in the face with a shotgun.

  • Wow you are stupid accusing me of not knowing stats here. He stated that hunters get 17 PERCENT of their kills by super, while titans and warlocks only get 8 PERCENT. if you are unaware of how percentages work, google it. But here let me explain it for you instead. It means that, completely apart from the total number of hunters, they get double the amount of their total kills each by super. This inherently means that their super is a much more effective means to kill people. It has nothing to do with more people playing hunters, it has to do with each hunter getting double the percentage of kills by super compared to other classes. You are dumb. Again, I WISH that I had a super I could use skillfully to consistently get 3-4 kills. I don't want a panic button. Hunters supers. Are. OP.

  • Learn to read dumbass, I said the hunter is forced by the mechanics of their super to use it better. I know reading is hard but you'll make less of a fool of yourself by trying it sometime.

  • "The stats prove that more people play hunters, thus hunters get more kills. Learn how stats work and then come back to us." This is what I was responding to. The fact you accused me of not knowing stats when you couldn't even comprehend what the percentages he stated meant. So dumb. Ugh.

  • You said Hunter's super is OP, the stats prove it. You never mentioned which stat you were referring to. My post explains why the hunters get more kills with supers, because they're forced to play smarter with them. ONCE AGAIN, learn to read dumbass, it'll help you in life.

  • How many times do I have to quote you back to yourself?? "The stats prove that more people play hunters, thus hunters get more kills. Learn how stats work and then come back to us." You said that hunters get more kills because more people play hunters. You obviously thought that the 17% was an OVERALL number of kills by super from all hunters in the game. Stop trying. You dumb.
I WISH I could use more skill with super
you just said i'm right ^ because in that statement you admit the lack of skill required for (what i assume to be) fist of havoc maybe you should start playing hunter

  • Yes. It takes no skill to panic super 1 person. That's completely irrelevant. Hunter supers can easily net 3-4 kills per. I want a super that allows me to use skill to get multikills as well. Because more kills = better..... Either titan/warlock supers need to be buffed, or hunters need to be nerfed, such that they are all netting people a similar number of kills.
