6 maps for crucible as well. it's either DLC or a monthly sub. I don't understand how people think devs can just conjure content out of thin air free of cost

I would rather pay a monthly subscription for a better story more, steady release of content, Better servers and better faction/loot/raid/rewards than pay 20 bucks for another week or so of content

Exactly!! Everyone wants DLC but no one wants to pay for it, I'll happily pay for anything destiny related because of; 1- I've got a job and I have MONEY. 2- I'm not a crybaby. 3- I love destiny and would happily pay money for add ons.

Not everyone wants stuff for free. The OP did not mention 'stuff for free". I'd pay a monthly sub if this game was pushing content regularly, as would the OP. The OP is dead on in that if we already know all of the content going into the DLC, that is not enough content to hold attention for long. The argument is less about money and more about the amount of things to do in this game vs the time frame we will receive new things to do. DLC could be free, it could cost 5 dollars, it could cost 100 dollars. Doesn't change the fact that 3 missions, 2 strikes, and one raid is going to be gobbled up in a week with another 2 to 3 months before we receive anything else.

Welcome to every game ever. Content is ALWAYS consumed faster than it can be made. It doesn't matter if they release 1 mission, or 100 missions 24 strikes and 4 raids. Its going to be beaten to death before they have a chance to produce the next new content. Doesn't matter if its paid with DLC, expansion packs, or a monthly sub. They are constantly working on new stuff, and what comes out is consumed long before they finish. Look at WoW, I don't care whether you hate it or think its a shit game or not, it is pretty THE go to model for a long life, subscription game. Thats why just about every MMO since, copies it in one way or another (Ya, it wasn't the first MMO and it got ideas from older games, most people wouldn't know what they are because they weren't as successful). WoW has one of the largest (if not the largest?) development teams in the gaming industry. They STILL can't produce new stuff fast enough for their players. Most raids from large patches are beaten for several months before the next big patch with a raid drops.

You've completley missed his point.
