I'm mad because I don't look at reviews for games before buying them, everyone one earth is suppose to be trustworthy and only make things that I would like. I will go complain on a forum about how I blame others for myself being misinformed.

You do know there were no reviews up before the game came out and that reviewers couldn't even play until the 8th of September.

  • and your point? you are the one that chose to make the decision likely only based on advertising, and spoilers, advertising only shows the product it advertises as being amazing. they wouldn't insult their own game. you are blaming someone else for your lack of foresight.

So I wasn't supposed to trust one of the most well respected gaming developers of the 2000s? That's like saying not to buy the next Sid Meier game when you really like Sid Meier games. More people buy it because they trust the developer and go by the assumption that their game will be as good as their other games. Bungie made many great games, but this one is by far their worst.

  • in this day and age I'm not going to pre order anything, as good companies that make good games have made bad games. Ex DS2, though I suppose I'm being a bit of a hypocrite because I'm going to probable preorder bloodborne, though with souls games it's supposedly best to have nothing spoiled for you.

Ok then, do what you want.
I'm going to probable preorder bloodborne,
Wait...what? I know you're calling yourself a hypocrite, but when you say you won't pre-order anything, don't say that you'll pre-order bloodbourne in the same post. And I'm just waiting for Dark Souls 2 to get ported to next gen, and if not, oh well.

  • Its FINE to pre-order something, but then you can't turn around and complain publicly afterwards that what you got wasn't what you were supposed to. If you take a risk like pre-ordering, you implicitly have to accept that you are buying something based on your confidence in the company making it, even if that confidence is misplaced.

  • I said I felt stupid for (probable, haven't yet) doing it. I can be like that because I won't complain about it on forums because I know that if it's a bad game, I made the bad decision in not watching reviews.

Yes, the blame is never always on one person or people, and I do agree that I should've been a little more skeptical about the game. It's just that my parents never let me play M games, which are a huge portion of the market right now. Everywhere you look, Last of Us, Mass Effect, Shadow of Mordor, Evil Within, all the huge triple A titles are M. So when a triple A game comes up that is rated T, I believe the hype. And I end up swindled by Bungie-vision, buying their Digital Guardian Edition.

  • your parents won't let you play M rated games, and yet give you access to the internet?

I have my means. I'm not magic though, I can't buy an M rated game and make it look like it never happened. It's a lot easier with free things like youtube and Internet forums.

  • I looked at the videos advertising the product, and they turned out to be false advertising. There were a million false claims made. I also did put trust in the Bungie name because it's BUNGIE, the creators of HALO COMBAT EVOLVED, HALO 2, and HALO 3. There IS a such thing as credibility, Bungie had it, and now Bungie blew it all away with this rip-off game Destiny.
