How do you do that with Yosemite? I have only had my Macbook Air for four months.

command shift 4 is a screenshot. you can click and drag to make a frame. clicking space bar takes a pic of the whole screen.

CMD Shift 3 just takes the whole screen without having to drag the frame. Obviously the frame is nice if you just want part of it but if you're capturing your whole screen CMD Shift 3 is easier.

Yeah but I have to make sure Pro Tools is fully updated to work with Yosemite before I upgrade otherwise I won't be able to do any production work :|

Im guessing you make music? I only upgraded to Yosemite so I could get that gorgeous trash can. If you watch Apple's keynotes you will know what I am talking about.

Yeah I'm an audio engineering major. I'm digging all the new smoothness between Yosemite and iOS 8, but since I only have an iPhone 4 that isn't compatible with iOS 8, that shit is irrelevant until I upgrade my phone.
