Absolutely Agree with you man... people complaining coz they want it easy... so then, they could be 30 by killing Lv8 enemies on the Cosmodrome for hours by getting Motes of Light... in the meantime, people are putting effort on VoG haha :P no way that can happen xD

At least that ass hat shooting at a level 8 dreg is putting in work that that other guy did in 20 min by spamming the forum for a waypoint and a warlock group.

  • Agreed. I genuinely regarded those who'd done the Raid on hard with a measure of respect - until I realised that you can join mid-run, buy saves, exploit and cheese the Raid repeatedly. I now treat claims about the Raid being a reflection of skill or commitment as UTTER BOLLOCKS. In light of overwhelming new evidence, raid elitism is also UTTER BOLLOCKS. By extension, therefore, so are claims that only raiders should be entitled to reach level 30. All having completed the raid effectively proves is that a player has a) friends who play the same game..b) hours on end to devote to playing a video game and...c) a home situation that allows him/her to yell into a mic for several hours at a time. (All power to such folks - seriously, I'd love to be in that situation for just one single weekend. Alas, tis not to be.) So, any claims, direct or implied, that raiders are in any way BETTER than lone-wolf players and thus deserve better gear or a higher level are also UTTER BOLLOCKS. I could now BUY my way to the RNG rolls at various stages of the Raid if I chose to - how many of those claim raid-veteran status actually did the thing entirely legit? (Makes me wonder how long the push-exploit was being cheesed BEFORE the story broke, tbh) Impossible to know, now, and thus raid-elitism has lost all credibility. So, Bungie, let's have an alternative route to 30 and broader MM, please. And let's be clear before the knee-jerk posts flood in, peeps - I'm NOT advocating that I should have an alternative route to RAID GEAR OR RAID EXCLUSIVE WEAPONS. I'm advocating that there needs to be an alternative way, however grindy, to get to level 30.
