To be honest I'm unconcerned with learning the truth now and I'd have been much happier with more content and a storyline that made sense.
The biggest issue facing the game right now is a miserably short story-mode that left me uninterested in the game instead of begging to know more and a horrible amount repetitive / lazy content.
If the Darkness Below doesn't double the number of story missions on every planet Bungie's going to have issues keeping people interested in the long haul.

I think you just said the same thing as the author... We all want answers in the story.
-
I don't want the answers, I want the story, there are so many points in the game where the mystery could have been introduced but it wasn't. Couple quick examples: 1 - We go to the moon but no reason to go there is ever given. If when we'd gone to Skywatch and first seen the Hive seeder a few quick lines or a scan side quest or a cut scene had happened indicating that this was terrible and that these things raining down on the Earth needed to be stopped would have gone a long way to creating a story or a mythology. 2 - "Do you know about the Black Garden? Oh we've heard the legends." Wait what??? WTF story were you playing through Dinklebot because this is the first time I've heard it mentioned. 3 - I'm an Awoken, I don't know maybe at one time that might have been mentioned or even explained to us in the course of the story why I'm no longer human? Hey Queenie, why am I blue? 4 - Had the Stranger introduced a greater mystery to us at the end it would have gone a long way to generating interest instead of being this horrible let down. "There is more afoot in the Tower than you think, be cautious and trust no one." "The Speaker is not what he seems." Something, anything. I don't want answers, I want key plot elements to be introduced in a way that makes sense and leads to a greater mystery and therefore an increased desire to see how things play out.

That's, fair. Questions that inspire answers because all the theories on Destiny so far are interesting but pretty much baseless. Do you think the expansion will be big enough to do it? I have very little faith after how much room the had between the Grimoire and game. To me the expansion at this point is not worth it.

6 new story missions , 2 strikes, 1 raid. I read it on another thread, if it's true...oh boy. 0.o
-
No, that is not true, both dlc together add 6 story two strike and two raid, cut it in half and that is where we stand
-
Wow! That sucks man.
-
If this is true it will be the death of the game because it doesn't justify the investment of my funds to purchase.

It is what made me decide it's not worth it and traded it in for diablo 3 RoS
