What gameplay mechanics are you expecting? The vex had sync plates. I'm inclined think the Hive will use a darkness mechanic + hordes of thralls! And yea, they are a Hive-mind so I expect we'd be entering from point to point killing Queen Wizards or King Knights or something

I'm thinking a God of War sized boss, here. Like Titan sized. And you climb throughout her (The Consort) body, scanning her body for the location of an access code or key, while defending Scan points from waves of enemies. Then you have to face off against the Consort herself, because the key wouldn't be conveniently placed on her Desk, right? Naw. Like in her mouth or something. Maybe her eye?!? Ooooooo. Thoughts forming. I'm getting at Parkour meets classic Destiny Defense. And the Scanner, the one who uses his/her ghost to scan, wouldn't be able to help.
