You hit the nail on the head with the whole "underlevelled = slaughtered, overlevelled = nothing"
When I have to go complete bounties on earth why am I not blasting my way through the fallen and hive on a biblical annihilation level.
On venus, heroic mode my pulse rifle does 350 per bullt in Burst for critical hits and around like 117 for body blows.
On earth, its closer to 151/81 spread.
Why doe a level advantage disabled like in the crucible on earth, this is literally the only RPG that has done this ever.
I go back to starter area in pokemon and you bet your behind my lvl 100 Typhlosion (which can solo the elite 4) absolutely vaporizes the lvl 2 pidgey.
Why am I not doing that on earth?

The game mechanics are so messed up in Destiny. Leveling basically makes no difference in how hard mobs are to kill. If anything the mobs behavior gets more agressive as WE level up.

Destiny is not an RPG its a 'shared world' shooter. Bungie are merely sharing it with us and making it abundantly clear at every turn that this is their world, not ours :(

My class has a [b]R[/b]ole to [b]P[/b]lay in this [b]G[/b]ame Everything about Destiny is an RPG, but seeing as they failed at the MMO part of it, for legal reasons they will call it a shared world shooter.

That was the answer I was hoping for. I strongly believe that we, the gamers see what ought to be an mmorpg whilst Bungie is adamant it is not. Your answer is, in my humble opinion correct . Destiny IS an RPG but its creator seems hellbent on denying it :(

I was attempting to break my MMO addiction, and Destiny threatened to hook me for life. But thank you Bungie for saving me from that. They have an entire community of fans so riled up and they won't even talk to us about it.

We are approaching a point of no return I fear. The sheer power of Activision coupled with Bungie's lingering reputation might yet sell Destiny 2. But I fear that the forums will be forever lost to vitriol and spite at this rate. They just need to talk to us and respond to our ideas and concerns
