Why does the unarmored leg take less damage than the armored leg?
Logic!
English
-
Has anyone else also thought: why can't I shoot the leg some more and have it completely blow off?
-
The damage is done, it's like a numb limb at that point. Walker relies on the remaining legs for support, rendering any more damage to the weak leg(s) irrelevant. /logic

More people need to see this

The Logic is strong with this one!

Welcome to Destiny.

Always wondered that…it should be the other way. Who was sitting at the design table when this got implemented…

Because if an unarmed leg took more damage, everyone would only blow one leg off and focus fire on the one leg instead of the other five.
-
it doesnt really change much in the grand scheme of things though.. unless they plan making a raid walker boss
-
Its their crucible armor so its stats dont matter.
-
The fallen probably just got a bad shipment of walker leg plating from China

I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain.

my nose... damn you sir, +1

I could tell you...

Why does Aksor, Archon Priest have a gun in his jail cell?
-
Because thats not his prison cell. Thats a pod meant to restore him to full power. Why on earth would a prison cell have a cannon on it?
-
Edited by BizarWolf: 10/20/2014 9:35:41 PMI think that the cannon was part of the prison's defense system, to keep people from getting too close and opening it without clearance. But the Fallen, being masters of messing with other technologies, managed to get around it.
-
Look at the pod. It is Fallen tech. It is not his prison, it is a Fallen pod the Priest is using while regaining his strength. It makes sense it would also have a means of defense.
-
Ugh…this makes so much sense! I guess if I was 9 feet tall and had 4 arms I'd sleep with a giant -blam!-ing flack cannon too.
-
Why can't you just push his jail cell off the cliff into the lava instead of letting him out?
-
Right? I think that's ether so it might turn him into the hulk archon
-
Think of it like a human. If your arm gets ripped to shreds and you lose all nerve endings in that arm you won't feel a thing from that arm. So it doesn't do any more "damage" Kind of similar with the walker
-
Not quite. Actually, just plain way off.
