No, its not a printed stat and I dont have numbers to back me up.
However, what cannot be denied is that this is the truth. I have a bad habit of checking the profiles of everyone in popular threads when I'm bored.
Most often I see Guardians with a Hunter and a lower level Warlock.
Sometimes i see Guardians with a Warlock and lower level Hunter
Other times i see Guardians with a Warlock/Hunter and obviously discarded Titan
Sometimes, a Hunter with two other Hunter alts(one usually very low - pre10)
Other times, a Warlock with one or two other Warlock alts, same as above
Most times i see a Titan, they have that one account. Usually very high level, 28+, with a high amount of playtime on it. However, when this is the case, they usually have no other alts
Now, what is most rare is, a Titan with 2 other Titan alts. Literally the only three times Ive seen this is when browsing the leaderboards on DestinyTracker.
My first character was a Titan. I thought i was enjoying myself until i reached level 26 and started taking part in Nightfalls and Tiger strikes. I was amazed at what the other classes could do.
Thats when i decided to create a Warlock... loved this warlock so much i got him to 29 in a week and reinvigorated my love for the game.
Lets be honest with ourselves. Titans aren't fun to play. Put aside the 'omg i punch everything including rox' and you have yourselves the most boring class in the game that almost everyone who first rolled a Titan regrets and regards as a precious waste of time.
Once a week I switch to my Titan alt to grind the Nightfall and Raid for gear. It is the most boring chore and it usually only takes less than an hour.

Rolled a hunter he is 27. They are terrible, the jump they have is terrible, the grenades they have are terrible. So I retired him. He is not even playable anymore since my lock was made. Titans at level 12 or so I have gear for him and then we will prolly be best friends.
-
Funny you started this thread as I'm just about to create another titan and scrap my lvl 2 warlock
-
Uh... Wouldn't that indicate that Titans are the most fun? If no one wants to switch to something else and just spends all their time on one? I swear, I could probably count this forum's median IQ on my hands....
-
Titan striker here, and high level content is my game (but I do have a maxed out defender subclass just incase).
-
I am a 96 hour Titan.

Edited by Crusty Vato: 10/19/2014 5:11:27 AMNah brah...I have a 27-28 Titan, and I created a warlock. I haven't touched that warlock in weeks, and I'm thinking about deleting him and starting two new Titans for three runs each at VoG, weekly, and nightfall. I couldn't be happier with my Titan. Edit: TITAN MASTER RACE!!! #MeSmashGood

If you play right in PvE your unstoppable with the Titan....health low.... Melee... Sheild that keeps recharging..... Health low but melee recharging.... Bubble with another sheild!!...rinse repeat mission over Titan sit nuff said
-
Titans are awesome. I love my titan, and as one of my buddies once said, "The two other classes clean my boots."
-
Striker main, hunter alt, currently leveling a second titan for defender. If we ever see a third subclass added, my hunter will be deleted to make a new titan for that. I like punching things. Sometimes I punch them with my fists. Sometimes I punch them with my shoulder. Sometimes I punch them with my knee. Sometimes I punch them with bullets.

I found fun in using guns at longer ranges, but anything coming near me gets a fist to the face.

Edited by ljusmc1371: 10/19/2014 2:26:46 PMMy first character was a warlock and is level 27 then I made a Titan because they look cool. Then made a hunter and quit it. Leveled up my Titan within a couple of days and it's probably gonna be my main character now. Also using the ward of dawn has to be the funniest shit in the world to use in PVP. My Titan is level 25 now I believe. I got a legendary chest piece on my warlock and passed it over I do miss having Fireborn tho
-
nah warlock was my first character after he reached level 30 i made a titan and to be hones titans are much better compared to the warlock in both PVE and PVP. its all in the way you play
-
Love my titan, most proud of him actually. Worked hard for what he has. Making another titan now, 14, and have a 26-27 warlock since couldn't stand the hunters jump.
-
Edited by GTRX UK: 10/19/2014 2:20:02 PMI think your onto something lol Except I love my Titan , always have always will
-
I always smile when my team mates die and i just pop up my bubble and res them. Pretty nice for nightfall, makes life easier than 3 1k shots or a blue ninja that dies from a vandal fist anyways. People just go warlock because its something more unique than a titan spartan or the lone wolf hunter.
-
Started with a Warlock (28) and am trying the titans and I love it. He smashes it up in PvE
-
Warlock main and my 2nd was a titan, 3rd will be another warlock. The way i look at it i play mostly pve, warlock is best at pve, titan is 2nd best pve. Hunter supers are just not that helpful pve so they have little appeal to me, however the games RNG really really really wants me to make a hunter ever exotic armor i have ever gotten as a drop or from engram is hunter every single time. Hunter is primarily popular for pvp there is where their supers are quite good. I think there seems to be more people in destiny for pvp than pve which probly explains what you have seen.
-
I always play a Titan like character in rpg's: In Everquest 1&2 I was a 60 human Warrior In SWG I was a human Master Heavy Swordsman In GW2 I was a human Guardian All called Basho In Destiny I have one character, a 28 Titan Defender. That's who I am.
-
I run three Titans. Figure in a week I'll have all three at 29.
-
I love my titan about to make a third one so I can improve my chances more to get raid boots that's all I need lol
-
I have a level 29 Hunter and a 27 Titan. I wouldn't say Titans aren't fun to play, I just prefer my Hunter.
-
ill max my titan eventually just for the achievement.
(lol xbox or whatever)
but yea dont really have much interest in playing it atm

Edited by thaprince1: 10/19/2014 1:24:23 PMTitan is more of a tank/support class. If youre like to kill lots, you wont enjoy titan. But if youre more of a team player, titan is the way to go. Titan is probably the most helpful class other that the warlock fireborn of course, when doing the raid, nightfall, all those hard challenges. I love having a titan in my team, and id pick it over a hunter. BECAUSE DEFENSE IS THE BEST OFFENSE. Just my opinion.
-
i think the lack of super for titans to actually use against boss fights in strikes/raid is a reason for this yes, shield can be helpful, but it isnt realllllly helping you since theres always a sweet spot to hide basically in any fight. just an opinion
-
I think this is just your opinion, it shouldn't be taken as fact, I love my titan and its my only character cos I don't feel like rolling a hunter or warlock... That's MY opinion ofc.

I like how everybody's reasoning behind posts like this is that "I don't like something so you must not like it either".
