Actually mine have even stopped ranking up - I have been stuck at 33 strikes for over a week. That was kind of what led me to make the connection here - being a little upset that even my help post related to that had gone unanswered the cards had been on my mind. I suppose that this makes this change that much more feasible, if they are going to fix whatever is wrong with them, why not take one more step and create these 6 ( or 9) new cards and unroll them alongside the fix for the current bug. They have a great potential that much is true, and if they considered using something along this vein to expand on some of the weaker aspects of the in game portion they could make some great changes and not have to rewrite or reprogram aspects that they have already put into place. In my mind this is a designer's dream - it allows them to integrate new things using an ever expandable connection through the cards, thier ranking and the benefits they offer. Of course there is also the story and RPG that they hold as well, but until that comes to be available in game the disconnect that occurs between the two locations will keep them in the "post-game" aspect of Destiny.

good point. As far as bonus stats going, those cards could be active for this first game and then simply rewritten in game two.
