I was just telling my buddy they need to add a way for us to purchase materials. I don't find it fun at all running around and collecting spinmetal and spirit bloom. Everything in this game has multiple ways to acquire things, except for farming these materials. I should have the option to pay motes of light or strange coins for packs of 50.

But on the same token, those that do find it fun (for the time being anyway), searching for loot n shootin n farming materials and equipment (and on occasion finding those chests that spring a load of amazing bounty), still need to have a place they can sell their material surplus. With the latest update to Destiny (1.0.3), I've noticed the Quartermasters now only sell and no longer buy these materials. I think the community has come to a reasonable conclusion that there should be the ability to trade/buy/sell any and all materials and collectables Guardians obtain. Make it happen I say (and I'm looking forward to the DLC coming soon)
