Scout Rifle Users Assemble!
I currently have the rare Acheron SR5, but I have enough crucible marks to buy a legendary scout rifle, which there are 2: Cryptic Dragon and The Aries Nemesis X4.
Has any one used these scout rifles in pvp, should I stick with the Acheron or buy one of the legendaries? If you have used them please share your feeling of said rifle.

I went ahead and bought the cryptic dragon and maxed it out. It is pretty beast so far. I also am wanting to test out the IB one. Thanks you for the advice. I hope to get more scout rifles to my collection

Just got The calling with final round, firefly, explosive rounds. Stats r all gd, gonna max it out. Hoping final round and firefly, explosive rounds with cause aload of damage to enemies and surrounding enemies.

I have the VOC. Love it but now my go to rifle for PVE and PVP is the Badger CCL (331). Badger CCL (radar stays active while aiming down sight and reduced severity of recoil). Animosity716

I have Gheleaons Demise after 2 rolls with: Return to sender Explosive rounds And Third Eye Love it and would put it against any other scout.

Idk what yours does but my cryptic dragon increases reload speed after each kill and precision kills cares the enemy to explode

I use a1x on two of my characters and I love it, the third has voc.

I highly highly recommend the A.1x rifle from vanguard. Been using it a while and I really love it. If you ever get the marks you should test it out

I have an a.1 I got from a nightfall. Has luck in the chamber and third eye. With fitted stock this thing is a beast.

The dragon is good....Vision of Confluence legendary Vault of Glass drop is ridiculous once it's leveled up. Automatic shots with no recoil on a scout rifle is awesome for PVE and PVP both.

1 ReplyThe A.1F19X-Ryl is a great scout rifle. Although it's rate of fire is lower than average, it's rounds hit hard! In the crucible, head shots with it can cause 75 damage on enemies which means it's capable of 3 shot headshots, and it's range in PVE is great for taking out enemies from across the map. It's one of my favourite scout rifles in the game!

I just bought the Multi Tool and I'm starting the process to upgrade it. I spend a lot of time in PvE looking down the sights so the always on radar perk is absolutely essential to me, and it's the first thing you unlock! The clip size is also much larger than the blue level scout rifle I was using prior. Love the weapon so far!

The new monarchy scout, crusader I, is easily the best scout you can get with marks. Fire rate is high, comes with field scout, very low recoil, reloads fast as the wind after a precision kill. I only use scouts on my main character, all felt sluggish and ineffective compared to my bright red baby. *Mida and VoC are much better.

11 RepliesI cannot say enough good things about the A.1F19X-RYL. It's available from the Vanguard quartermaster for 150 marks and is worth every mark. The shop model has Firefly (precision kills cause an explosion), which is very useful in PvE (not so much in PvP), and Final Round (last round in a magazine causes bonus damage), plus a choice of Field Scout, Lightweight or High-Caliber Rounds. All of these have useful benefits in PvE mostly, but can also be helpful in PvP. Most importantly, the A.1 does great single-shot damage (more than a Vision of Confluence) and still has a decent fire rate. It has great short-to-long range versatility depending on the sight you select (IS for short, FLA for long) and will serve you well in anything up to a Normal Vault Raid. I would strongly recommend you check out this top-notch Scout Rifle.

Mida Multi Tool (Agility, rounded weapon) New Monarchy Scout Rifle (Because it's red my favorite color!) I haven't tried Cryptic yet but let me know how it plays out in multiplayer. I'm going to get the iron banner scout as soon as I hit rank 5 I hope it's beast

5 RepliesI recently got the A.1F19X-RYL from the Nightfall and the abilities on it are almost identical to fatebringer(Explosive shot and Firefly) might level it up not sure as I might have to get the MIDA today.

VoC from the raid is amazing in both PvE and PvP. I also have the MIDA multitool. People will tell you it sucks but used right it's actually a really good gun

4 RepliesI run maxed MIDA Multi Tool in IB and as a level 28 defender Titan it's a 4 shot headshot on level 30s, 3 shot headshot kill (70 damage crits) on anyone like level 24 and below. So much fun haha, scout rifles are my favorite
