Name one person who uses a dedicated scout, or pulse rilfe for PVE. I'll wait.
The Auto nerf was for PVE as well.
The VM was too good, "if you don't have a VM, then you're under powered." This is unacceptable.
Their shouldn't be one option for top tier weapons.
Don't mention the skill in getting it, it's off topic.

If anything we should power up everything and speed up all characters. The game is supposed to take tactics and strategy when you build your load out. exotics are supposed to be overpowered... they are exotic. the only reason auto rifles and shotguns seem to rule the pvp arena is because all the venues are close quarters. As soon as you step onto the larger maps like the moon you find that shoties and auto rifles are no longer king and that snipers and scout rifles take over. the game should be reset to the way it was originally and instead of hot fixes they should add new content. (except the hand canon that should have always been two shots to the dome.)

The only thing I use in PvE is a Scout Rifle. Plus a secondary sniper rifle and a heavy rocket launcher.

TBH i just now started using my atheon scout rifle that i've had for nearly 2 weeks. I mainly used Hand Cannons in PVE and about half the time in PVE, The problem is hand cannons are a bit underpowered in pvp and i would say usable in PvE. Hand cannons are basically now the equivalent of scout rifles but with less range and waaaay more recoil. i just think they should get some more damage to go with their single shots and high recoil. (only the last word doesnt have a huge problem with RoF but i have that gun and even it isnt all that great when it takes a suros regime 1-2 more bullets then the last word to kill you, while still shooting 2-1 bullet ration suros to last word)

I used scout rifles from day one till.. I get the vex because it was excellent for one shooting critical spots and not having to ammo run. And I've done the raid on hard about 14 times now fastest being about 42 minutes. So ill argue that scout rifles are good.

I use Pulse rifle mainly and scout rifle secondary only cause I don't have a Legendary pulse rifle yet. But I will also say that when a LARGE majority of people are choosing 1 weapon over all others... and consider anyone who isn't using said Weapon underpowered? The there is a balance issue that needs to be addressd REGARDLESS of whether it is used PVE or PVP. Doesn't matter whether it was the VM or Just ARs in general. THe fact that they had become, pretty much, the Goto weapon for nearly 90% of all players regardless of what style of play it was in? There was a problem with these that needed fixing. Should the VM stand out? SURE it should for the level OF weapon i is. But Other weapon Choices of the same Level of Quality should Equally Stand out. All legendary weapons bought from vendors with marks should be equally good. ( as close as they can be) and ALL weapons gained from the Vualt Finale Boss should be Equally Better than "Store bought" Bought legendaries, All Zur bought weapons should be Equally exotically awesome.... But Exotics from the Bounties weapons should be equally better than Zur weapons.
