This Patch will lose players

I respect the reduction on weapon damage due to so many people complaining and arguing about them. I do request one thing from the Bungie team to not mess with the guns power outside of the crucible and Iron banner. You guys would just make it much harder for players to complete raids and harder content. For example the vex mythoclast is strong, but the ammo is short and if you reduce its damage all around the gun is "garbage" in the raids and mission that are 28 and up. I would suggest to complain on reduction in crucible only. I would like for some people to message Bungie about keeping nerfing among crucible "ONLY." This will lose many players on Destiny since it will also effect the weapons(not just vex mythoclast, but shotguns, auto rifles, and possibly the rest). A possible reason auto rifles are being nerfed is because of the suro regime while all the others have no actual stability and the impact/damage is so minuscule the whole clip plus possibly even more is required to kill someone

  • The Shingen autorifles still have a unrealistically long range, and lack of recoil. We PvE players don't notice this because the it is only a very narrow window in our part of the game where the Shingen-C and the Shingen-E are useful before they get supplanted by weapons with higher attack ratings and that do more damage. But in the Crucible, all those things get normalized...so the Shingens allow players to just hose down people with bullets from halfway accross the map. In short, the autorifles have been "broken' since the beta, and Bungie is just finally getting around to reining them in. Automatic rifles are not long-range weapons. But at the end of the day, you're not going to be able to keep both PvE and PvP players happy with the same weapon stats. Because the whole point of PvE play is to find that OP superweapon that lets you mow down the monsters. But that same weapon in PvP play, breaks the game. ..and vice-versa. The changes that make PvP players happy, reduces you to throwing spitballs in high level PvE play.
