Yes I agree with you on that there is more to the Traveler then as we see it. We only see a giant moon like object simply floating above the city. The only action we have ever witnessed it doing is making it rain on Mars. A planet that currently is little more then a desert planet where all the water is locked in the poles. However the examples you have provided to try and convince me that the Traveler is NOT the giant sphere are not cohesive. You have not pointed out the exact lines that support your reasoning and why. To top this off, most of the Grimore descriptions are prose. They are the poetic musings of individuals who are pondered every possibility but do not narrow down anything into cold fact. They are little more then pretty sounding metaphors which encode the data in relation to the topic in an artistic cipher. They are not to be taken literally. When you describe something you don't understand, you write down everything that comes to mind. The Traveler is non-describable beyond "Big Giant Moon" so metaphors are used to describe the "miracles" it preforms.
