  • I played a little over 20 games last night. IT was awsome. No more waiting for players in a custom to start a match. well at least for the weedend. I think the playlist is a keeper. Maybe ranked next time. Love you guys at bungie. keep up the good work. KMnD.

  • this is good news.. I just wish Bungie would put custom/homemade variants on the hopper permantely so people actually played these great game types. there's so many people out there, myself included, that don't have enough halo3 friends playing at any given time, or are too lazy, to download a gametype from bungie.net, start a custom game, and invite people. or you know.. we could get an actual game browser but that's never going to happen.

  • Hmm this sounds fun, though I would still LOVE for a "Team Snipers" gametype to come out! I loved it in Halo2, and would make me play more Halo 3 haha.. because personally, the gametypes get a bit boring when your a high level in most gametypes, then you don't find anyone to fight!

  • recently found out that the griftball court has a flaw that allows a player with the bomb to escape out of the arena, preventing a losing team from scoring a needed point to tie a game. please correct the flaw. ps. bungie, check out my clips so you know what i'm talking about... this brigadier does it perfectly during one of my matches.

  • always nice to know you can hold out on maps you get told to hold out on until there free if we dont feel like paying for them, cause we shouldnt have to. Yet when hoppers like this DBL XPs(which I would love to be apart of) has to be for a new map only. Again Bungie drops the ball and fails to include everyone. They have one thing going for them. The name HALO! outside of that there costumer service has sucked since halo 3s release! GET BACK TO WORK GUYS IN WASHINGTON this game needs your hours of experience, not wisecracking everything.

  • I don't know if bungie reads this, but you need to make the party size maximum to four on the grifball playlist. If you have eight people it allows your party of friends to continually tie and boost stats, illegitimately. Ultimately, this is unfair to people who are legitimately trying to play from keeping up with people getting a dozen killionaires per game. This doesn't even consider four people signing in four guests because it is a social playlist. Anyway, I appreciate the new playlists and such... Thanks Bungie.

  • "Much needed competitive playlists" means Team SWAT and Grifball? Bungie keeps on reminding me why I continue to play and enjoy Shadowrun and not Halo 3. You got my 60 bucks - but certainly not my loyalty for your next game. And I'm sorry for being a prick, but when the THC settings are as terrible as they are - and they haven't been changed in about three months now (and Oddball time increase doesn't count) you begin to wonder what is actually happening to Bungie as a developer... You can't forget how long it took to implement ranked BTB, or how they haven't implemented MLG settings, or Team SWAT (permanently) or Team Snipers. But they certainly implemented playlists such as Rocket Race, Team Control and Team Tactical pretty damn fast... I'll say this on record right now - Bungie got its loyalty and sales off of the back of the "competitive" gamer, the players who played Halo 1 / 2 up until the release of the next game. It's a poor repayment by giving us exactly 0 lists that we would enjoy - and gameplay that takes any kind of speed or edge off of the game and maps that take a full minute to walk across to find action sometimes - but have no BTB merit. Honestly - keep feeding the casual players, they lap up anything that's thrown at them (I mean look at CoD4 - a baby could pick up that game and get kills in it). I, on the other hand, might be seriously considering leaving the Halo community forever, all because Bungie gave in to CliffyB's "hype machine". Did you have a party at a graveyard with celebrities afterwards as well? It is extremely sad that they couldn't even get a sandbox type level creator correct - that tells you something. I just watched a gameplay, on LAN, of the top two teams at Halo 3 right now (tD and FB) and it was the slowest paced game I've ever seen - and it was at 110% speed. I'm done venting - the game actually plays decently on an arena sized map, with a good host / on LAN and with MLG settings - otherwise, it doesn't.

  • You need to change grifball so host and people with insanely good internet connections dont have such a huge advantage... i seem to constantly to smack my hammer down only dieing and them surviving... my friends and i are also wondering on who gets the kills when bomb blows up... on of my friends was at opposite side of map and got a double and then got a kiltrocity once the bomb blew up without doing anything... why doesnt this happen for me? it would be nice to have a double melee (both people die) if hammers are hit within 200ms rather than 100ms to make it more fair for those who dont have the insane internet.
