...k. that's all well and good if there were other loot tables other than atheon. i wouldn't mind if they removed xür if certain bosses or raids worked like the "atheon only" drops. i don't see them fixing that any time soon though.

Well like I said this is Bungie's first looter shooter. They couldn't do the whole "bazillions of guns!" Thing because that's Borderlands' thing. But they needed to get their game up baby steps first and when the new raid boss comes out everyone will be all over it trying for a chance at his lottery. I wish they had more dedicated loot tables too. Strike bosses need their own personal loot pool.

that would be amazing if they implemented that. and i feel like a lot of the complaints over RNG vs. strange coins would be settled.

Yes. Dedicated loot tables from the strike bosses (they could even drop in engrams, or show up where loot shows up in a raid checkpoint) would fix so much in this game.
