Breaking News: XV0 "Timebreaker" Rumors of a factory Recall!
Recently some Guardians have been fortunate enough to acquire the XV0 "Timebreaker" Model Sparrow from heroic achievements in the Vault of Glass. This wonderful blessing has also recently been revealed to hold a sinister side. While not a product of the SUROS Arms Division, SUROS has been contracted by the city for the maintenance and repair of the Guardian fleet of Sparrows. Lately engineers at SUROS have been receiving disturbing reports of the Timebreaker's Overdrive Thruster malfuctioning resulting in the death of the driver. Needless to say this has many owners of this fine craft a bit on edge.
SUROS' head of Sparrow Developement, Isaac Barnes had this to say:
"We here at SUROS are dedicated to producing quality products to aid our Guardians in restoring humanity back to its former glory. While the XV0 Timebreaker is not a product of SUROS we fully intend to investigate and hopefully remedy these reports of faults in the craft."
Some Guardians believe that the "self-destructing" Timebreaker is not a threat, since the transmat system can generate a replacement almost instantly. Others have said they simply won't use the feature or will use it sparingly. Still others are quick to point out that there is an audible alarm before the craft actually explodes. Whatever the case may be those Guardians brave enough and lucky enough to own one will be the envy of their peers. Well at least until something newer or shinier comes along.
