There's a weekly cap of 100 marks for vanguard crucible. There is also a cap of 200 marks [b]total[/b] for each vanguard/crucible.
You can continue gaining all the rep you want to, [i]but[/i] you won't gain any marks until you spend some to get below the 200 mark limit.

Sounds like you may hit your weekly limit by the time you rank up.ul be able to buy 3 lots of armour straight away then tho.but it will be tuesday till you make more vanguard money if you have hit your limit by then.

Thanks. I was/am more concerned, when I do get the rep I need and hit Rank 2, I can spend my 200 but not get anymore until next week because I'll have hit the cap whilst hoarding 200 marks. Get me?

Edited by b3n: 10/9/2014 10:59:25 AMOh I see. Well.. Bounties and patrols go towards the rep too. That may be a different rep/mark ratio that may be more suited to getting more rep than marks. Either way, those marks come fairly easy if you're doing strike playlist a lot. Depending on what items you would need it may not be a big deal to lose some marks to the cap limit.

Events, selling spinmetal, relic iron, spirit bloom by the 50's earns you 5 marks and 25 rep. Points, gold events give 4 marks, silver 3, bronze 2. You can do event runs every hour and earns up to 20-28 marks an hour and no limit, fir when you run out.
