17 RepliesAs a veteran player and somebody who had logged their fair share of hours on Destiny, I can easily say that Iron Banner is completely garbage. The rewards that you can purchase terrible and serve no purpose to obtain. I can't even look cool for having them. The gameplay itself almost resembles normal crucible although there claims to be level advantage enabled. The worst part of all about Iron Banner is that the rewards for completing a match are non existing. Ever Iron Banner game that I play I usually end up with 30+ kills and 7,000 points for my team and that's with a 2.5+ KDR. The most disgusting part about this is that I receive no reward at the end of the game while the other team receives Legendary Engrams and Legendary Equipment. I've probably won 90% of my 50 Iron Banner games and have not ONCE gotten a legendary piece of equipment. The worst part of all is that my teammates who do poorly usually get rewards. On a side note, I heard that the "god of war" shader has a chance to come randomly from crucible. As somebody who has over 1,000 crucible wins and hasn't received this RARE (not even legendary) shader is quite embarassing. Fix the loot drops for the game. They're terrible.

9 RepliesRewards??? Right I gotta ask..... Playing this iron banner comp at the mo and I'm always finishing in the top 3 a lot of the time the actual highest scoring player! And I am aware that there is an element of luck to the loot system but when I have seen 3 exotic weapons and a lot of legendary stuff handed out around the players who literally have 0 kills 20 deaths and essentially I have carried there lazy asses through to victory it does start to get a bit frustrating!!!!! Anyone else agree???

2 RepliesPlease tell me I'll keep my Banner points even after event has ended (like, to be used during next Iron Banner event). I like Iron Banner but time is too short and I couldn't play often enough to build up to Rank 2, so I can't buy anything useful yet. Same happened for the Queen's event. Will she return?

Ok, Bungie, please make your public events last longer, some of us are quite busy and can only have a few days (weekend for me since the week is always pulling me from my beloved destiny) to enjoy these limited time events, i was unable to purchase anything other than an emblem and shader in both of the events you put out so far whereas all my other friends sat at home getting legendary iron banner gear while i was working. Also as a bit of a side note, PLEASE bungie, add in better customization for our guardians and also add the ability to buy a customization redo from possibly the guardian outfitter, at first i was not bothered by my character's looks but at level 26 and a half now, i wish i took more time to make a truly unique and stand out character over the bland black exo with green eyes i have now, make it cost a fair amount of glimmer or make it a possible reward from chests or events or whatever, but please do so, to give us the chance to amend any mistakes and be the guardians we wanted from the start (BEARDS WOULD HELP WITH THAT TOO! haha)

PvP = scrubs spamming fusion, shotties, suros, and red death, which I stand no chance against with my AR... So, why are the scrubs who bought their red deaths and suros... or spam fusion or shotties... whom get at the top of the list...complaining that they get nothing for doing so? No idea. Bungie, take away the XUR exotics...it ruined the PvP... My legendary gear... hell, even my hardlight doesnt stand a chance against suros or red death... then youve got the fusion and shotty spam to deal with.

I like the idea of running up against you guys! It's just too bad I'm an Xbox player. My new Titan character, designed specifically for crucible, is in a rather sad mood that they have no chance at this bounty emblem.

The crucible sucks in general and the iron banner. You got stupid warlocks and there stupid sun grenades you got the Titan hulk smash you got the stupid Titan shield that last too freaking long on a flag, it's just impossible to play crucible unless you put hours in this game like a no life.
