I don't know how much longer I'll stick around. I hate the newest format. As soon as I really got used to the B.next format, Bungie goes and changes it again, and it's basically broken on mobile, so I can't go here on my phone anymore like I used to. All the members I know and love seem to be leaving, and 80% of the NewFoMan members are annoying as can be. Old Uncle Recon and co. seem to be posting less and less, which sucks, because most of the mods who post in offtopic are pretty cool.
I don't know, it just seems like not that many people around here have any personality anymore. I was always more just another face in the crowd too, but it seems like more and more people here just troll and shitpost, and it's not even good shitposting either. At least Camnator's stupidity and booty addiction was entertaining. It just feels like topics are either really serious, or just plain stupid now. That's why I can't come here almost everyday like I used to. Now it's just a couple days every month or two. Not to mention Bungie's so called Community Leaders post maybe once every six months.
After six years and two accounts, it's starting to feel like this site just isn't worth going on as much as it used to be.

I never said all were bad, but the majority are. There are still diamonds in the rough that I like talking to and I like their posts, but it seems that those gems are getting tougher to find.

Aye. My fellow newfomen are mostly desticles, and I'm ashamed to say that I joined because of Destiny's announcement. Tis a shame that I'll not live down, but I left #Destiny after seeing how… ugh… the frequents were.

There's no shame in that. I originally joined to check my Halo 3 stats. Then I ventured over to the old Flood and the old Universe forums and I've stuck around ever since.

That's true, but it's really nothing new, honestly. The wave of new members when Reach came out turned the Reach forum into a Charlie Foxtrot. It's kinda the norm when a new game comes out. In about a year or so, the Desticles will wind down and either become regular members or just leave the forums.

It'll be fine, really. This was the way things were when Halo 3 was new, and when Halo Reach was new. The only thing that may change things up a bit is the fact that Destiny is a long term project. Either way, this is probably the worst it'll get. The longer Destiny is on store shelves, the less new idiots we'll get on this site. It's mostly just because the game's hardly a month old. By this time next year, #Destiny will probably be a habitable forum again.
