The "balance" in the game comes from the fact that EVERY player has access to the same weapon classes, and has supers. The Crucible is PvP shooter that rewards the player who is the best tactical thinker. Who can look at a situation and make the best DECISION about how to enter (or NOT enter) into that fight. It is NOT CoD or even Titanfall, where you are allowed to "shoot your way out of" your mistakes. So someone who is really quick and an accurate shooter and compensate for having made a dumb decision. In The Crucible if you make a stupid decision...you're dead. Just that simple. So I have NO problems at all with one-hit kills. If i'm close enough to someone with a shotgun or fusion rifle for them to take me out, and NOT realize they are there..then I deserve it. If I stand still enough for a sniper to put a round in my head without realizing they are there (or seeing the scope flare)...then I deserve it. You DO however have a valid point about the maps. Too many of the maps emphasize CQC at this poitn...and there needs to be a wider variety. I assume that Bungie will address this in the future.

  • 1hkos listed in no particular order (and not all inclusive) 1) Shotguns 2) Fusion Rifles 3) Sniper Rifles 4) Rocket Launchers 5) HMGs (ok, not an actual 1hko, but the "low" ROF, high impact ones will 3shot you almost as fast as 1hko attacks) 6) Warlock Sticky Grenade 7) Hunter Sticky Grenade 8) Hunter Seeker Grenade 9) Titan Shoulder Charge 10) Upgraded Striker Titan Melee (not sure which upgrade) 11) Arc Blade 12) Golden Gun 13) Fist of Havoc 14) Nova Bomb And I wouldn't be surprised if there were more that I'm not thinking of (I've heard a Radiance-powered Scorch melee hit will 1hko, but I haven't tested it to confirm). My issue isn't 1hkos being in the game, my issue is the sheer number of them and how common/easy they are. With a static 3minutes per super, starting at the 3 minute mark a team can fire off a potentially multi-killing super every 25 seconds for the rest of the match. On top of all the 1hko weapons/grenades/melees. Given things like int, orb pickup, gear increasing super regen from various things, etc, and you can see a team using a super potentially even more often. So rebalance the supers. Make special ammo more rare. But do SOMETHING to bring down the number of 1hko attacks flying around. Not saying get rid of them all, but just tone it down.
