A Post That Isn't Bitching.
Yea. Thought I might try something different. I tend to go against the grain.
Destiny's okay, man. It has its positives and negatives, like anything else. Nothing's -blam!-ing perfect.
I genuinely enjoy just dicking off, in the game. I clown in my xbox parties, with my friends, whoop some ass, and repeat.
How about y'all?

Im a casual gamer with a decent list of people to co-op with. It works for what it is. Sometimes the wait and the goof ups are frustrating and depressing. Heres for far cry 4 and assassins creed unity.

Thanks for this - so sick of hearing people complain about this game and reading the same annoying, petulant, nagging, garbage posts every day. I'm happy with the game and I'm confident that it will only get better. People need to give Bungie a break and trust that they'll keep adding to what is already a great game.

Hey man, glad you enjoy messing around too. Hell last night a few friends and I made a pick up group for the raid. 5/6 people being new to the raid. Made it to the final boss area. Had a blast. Was a pretty good time. Made new friends, got some gear, shards, etc.

1 ReplyIt's pretty good but when you are grinding the same story missions/strikes constantly it gets boring. Sure PvP is always there but that's only fun when you have a team.

1 ReplyI think the reason people bitch is because the game is so good. It seems like many of the glaring mistakes that people complain about are very tweaks that make a huge impact on the gameplay experience---most prominently the inability to converse in-game outside your fireteam.

2 RepliesI think the game is great to be honest, but everyone tends to look a gift horse in the mouth, not saying destiny has pissed me off a few times I just feel in the back of my mind destiny will become a great game. In due time. I have experienced zero lag only a teaspoon of connection loss to servers and unlike the rest of the rabble I actually do have a lot of fun on destiny and when I'm bored I explore the boundaries or go on crucible and destroy.

1 ReplyThe first time my group got to the templar in the raid our raid leader was explaining what everyone should be doing. While he was doing this I slowly kept nudging his character towards the ledge ultimately knocking him into the pit and starting the boss battle. We of course died that round because we were all laughing too much.

I wish there was more depth to the story or that the grimoire was in the game itself, But I genuinely enjoy playing Destiny, as the almost 200 hours I've played will attest. It is a great game with great mechanics. I have faith in Bungie that they will make this an even better game than it is already with patches and DLC, and once all the people who are bitching about EVERYTHING, move onto other games, the people who enjoy this game will be left and it will be an even better game without their whining. my 2 cents.

Also notice that in the iron banner I am doing slightly better and seems like I am killing faster so it seems fine to me. But there is nothing like a head shot on a cabal with a group of friends and laughing while he back flips 50 ft into the air mid jet pack lol

1 ReplyWhile the game may not overall be a social experience like Bungie had promised, it has been very social for my buddies. We all now have a game that draws us together because we just have fun together. You're right, it has it's positives and negatives, but I sure do have a heck of a time playing it.

1 Replydo you move party members to random parts of the tower when they take forever at the vault or bounty board? I find it therapeutic. I have a great sense of accomplishment if i manage to get them to the speaker (yes i have friends that spend 15 minutes in the vault trying to figure stuff out...i dont know why it takes so long)
