Most of the responses here sound a lot like "if bungie didn't want us to farm at the loot cave, then why did they put it in? It's clearly intentional, so it's not an exploit." Bungie is not perfect, they will make mistakes, and there will be oversights. This is clearly one of them. Bungie has stated that they will never punish players for clever use of mechanics, but I wouldn't expect this method to be viable much longer. Atheon's not that scary, anyway.

If they fix this in less than one week I'll be pissed. Not because they fixed it but because they took the time to rush a fix for something that should be secondary to fixing the already apparent problems/tweaks that the games needs. Things bungie has stated they are working on. Slowing down progress for the sake of the games longevity is ridiculous. It's not played how you like because we are able to progress faster and run the risk of getting bored sooner and stop playing. People are already getting bored and have stopped playing. Praise the sun! Kneel to your warlock overlords.

Some fixes are simpler than others, though. Network issues are ongoing, and I would expect weapon balancing to roll out next week. The other things, such as chat, are on a longer timetable, as they are more complex issues. Atheon already has a script that resets his position, they just need to make him execute it from all platform boundaries.

Only warlocks are.

Warlocks are demi-god embodiments of terror to all who behold them.
