The ZEBRA error seems to be temporary. Users are reporting that after seeing the ZEBRA error, subsequent log-in attempts have been successful.

Gamer Tag: Guiwhiz Xbone various errors always during gameplay or in tower Note - Have attempted a few hours of game play today. Out of several dozen attempts to start a Daily Heroic I have been booted every single time. Just... wow guys. Not sure what you did with this latest patch but this is really frustrating.

Since the patch and update 2 hours ago all but 2 of my raid team kept getting kto every few minutes with error code zebra and monkey!! Bungie has made the problem so much worse and we had to call it a day at the gatekeeper so not happy we couldn't finish the raid because of this problem that only started after the patch/update!!!

GT Dogs Danglies Console Xbox One Went to join a friends fireteam and got kicked with the Zebra error code for the second time today and now your game is saying I am not connected to xbox live whilst I am talking to friends of mine in party chat. I am unable to log back in at all. Dont get me wrong I love this game but this is get ridiculous. Luckily I wasn't in the middle of the weekly nightfall or heroic that I do every tuesday.

This is purely an outrage. we pay all this money to buy a game and now we can't even play it. it has been like this for two whole weeks with no sign of it getting any better. sort it out Bungie because this is -blam!-ing stupid.

This is a serious issue for me as my modem loses ALL internet connectivity for 12 hrs after. I enjoy the game but cannot recommend based on my experiences, PLEASE work on this VERY SOON, it is an every day problem for me and the 12 hr modem meltdown after "zebra" leaves me with no phone also. XxAng3usMorixX. Xbox 360. The zebra shows usually while I'm on a patrol somewhere. Either right at the start or a few minutes after. I thought it was my connection so I tried everything I can think of. Still having problems. So clearly it is a fault on your end. If you don't want to lose much needed fans I suggest getting your shit together and caring less about upcoming dlc's and more about server issues.

Cam you please offer any advice on how to play the game as i am the only one who can't play at all, whereas my friends are still expiriencing the full game. Any advice? This can be at any time when playing though usually if I'm part of a group. Almost guaranteed to happen if a public event is about to occur. I've had many boot outs just as the sky darkens to indicate a public event or during it. Infuriatingly, no benefit given for participating in it. Last night (around 8pm GMT) I carried out an experiment and hovered around the Steppes for a while before the public event should appear. It never came, and I was eventually booted off with an error. I can't clearly explain just how utterly frustrating this is, especially when my other half wants to see me turn off the console and watch "real tv". I love this game, I really do. However, I'm tempted to go back to Halo 4/Ghost Recon etc in desperation - simply because it doesn't boot me when I'm trying to do more than run around. I'm thinking of joining the Darkness, at least it makes no secret of consuming you..............

GT: Honourcreak Xbox One Played the Daily Heroic just fine, did some patrols on Earth and the Public Event. Then went to the Tower to turn in bounties and got "trying to connect to servers" and then Zebra. It's been a while now with this error-code. Third week running!
