7 RepliesSee, this is the problem with games and gamers these days. Video games shouldn't be about loot and only loot. Seems like that's all anyone gives a shit about. Get to the max level, addiction to getting the best loot, best this and that, master the game, become a god of the game. Seriously, why? Why can't we just enjoy a damn game any more for its game play? Do we play assassin's creed for loot? Mainly no, we play it for the kickass climbing and combat mechanics. My challenge to you is to put the loot-pursuit at the back of your mind, and enjoy the social/teamwork/combat parts of the game. The loot will come in time. Personally, since I've taken that perspective, me and my wife and my small clan have been enjoying the hell out of the game. We beat a weekly heroic strike and it was very rewarding just in the sense of beating the challenge. I was proud of that. Regardless of what I'm rewarded with at the end.

3 RepliesSir, you do not speak for the whole community. Everyone was probably disappointed with the lack of story and mmo/ innovative/ dimension shattering features we were so lovingly promised. Honestly I don't think it was bungies fault. It sounds to me they were somewhat like a dog on a leash watching helplessly as it's owner gets beaten to death. However seeing as how the majority of people who complain are the ones that play it the most, I can see this game gettin funded for the next 10 years simply because you love to hate this game. Gonna get all the DLCs just to bash em and say how you were lied to and how you want this and that from bungie. Sorry kids but they never gave you a money back guarantee and your mom/ dad's money is theirs now.

This game is by far one of the most frustrating and sad to say, worst games I've played. Not only is there no story, but has terrible connections issues. I've played all the halo series developed by bungie and I never once had issues with my connection, except for the occasional lag. But with destiny, it's not just lag, it's absolute garbage! Too many times during multiplayer, has that's stupid post come up saying it's attempting to connect to the servers. And after it disconnects me, it try's to pass the blame on my internet connection. Rubbish! My connection is fantastic, how am I suppose to enjoy multiplayer if all it does is kick me out right when I'm doing well! Not only that, but the hit detection in multiplayer is the worst I've ever seen in my life! Too many times have I done battle with someone, he/she kills me and a second or two later, that player dies as well. This is a real issue with the game and yet, bungie are concentrating on fixing this random loot issue. Why? This is surly more important then some stupid loot. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is solid, definitely has a feel of halo to it. But this game had turned from a fun time, to an absolute chore to play. No story, connection issues, god awful hit detection in multiplayer...the list goes on...and here it comes. No imagination was put into the missions, all it is, is constant hoards of enemies every time. Your ghost scans something, defend your ghost and that's it?! Also infinite invisible walls throughout the game. This is suppose to be an mmo, why can't we go out and explore! Not only that, but this game has invisible ceilings too! WTF why would you do that! This game had had a budget of 500 million dollars and you know what, all this money I'm starting to believe was put into the team deciding where to put all these invisible wall and death clock garbage. Also, despite the games great visuals, the game is really lacking in activities, I feel like I've done everything in the game, everything that works! One other thing I forgot to mention, is why isn't multiplayer desperate from the story? Why do we have to carry our weapons, armour and our rank over to multiplayer. Why doesn't multiplayer have its own ranking system? Without it, what can you possibly hope to gain from playing it? Some random loot if you happen to play well in this beyond glitchy game. Wow I got a rare shotgun, FANTASTIC! That's was sure worth all my time! Where did bungie go wrong?...I really wanted to enjoy this game, I really wanted to love it. But now, after playing this, I have lost almost all faith in bungie. Bungie to me was one of the greatest, if not the greatest gaming developers in the world...not anymore. Bungie has lost almost all my faith and now all I can do, is wait until halo 2 comes out again and play and remember the days when bungie were great

Don't add me in this...I don't feel the same way as you do plus I can form my own opinion thank you. The exotic bounties are meant to be a challenge and challenge you to play outside your comfort zone...don't like them well don't do them and abandon them Nothing and nobody has said that you personally have to complete them to lvl up or continue with the game

I am at the point where I am selling my copy and this is fact. I and so many other gamers feel ripped off to put it politely. I am very disappointed and happy to get rid of my copy never to return due to the amount of fault issues regarding this title. Alien isolation here I come goodbye destiny

1 Replyokay, the loot system really is not that bad now. if youre farming with 0 reward its because youre not suposed to farm. just go play strikes with friends, do the weekly heroic, do the nightfall, or better... the Vault. you will be entertained while killing the same amount of enemies allowing you to get the loot but, you also get the endgame rewards too! The story was short and untold but, thats why people obsess over it. With an untold background everybody complains saying "thats stupid" or "they ruined it" when really they intended it to be untold so the player can spice it up with imagination, a feature that has since been dying off with newer games. People just need to chill and play the game the way it truly was intended to be played as... with a fireteam of friends, and creating your own stories to have fun with.
