Catipiller / Hawk Errors every 5 to 10 minutes
I have been unable to play for the last few days because of constent errors kicking me to orbit or even worse disconnecting me from live. I have a static IP setup, all the xbox live ports needed opened and the extra ports listed on this site, have hard wired my xbox 360 to my router, tried deleteing and reinstalling the game and game data as well as my player profile, contacted my ISP and xbox live support but still no luck. when the game first came out i was able to play for an hour or two then get kicked off it sucked but I was able to log right back in and keep playing, but now ever since the last update i am kicked off every 5 minutes or so. I havent been able to go to the tower or play though a mission. All and all I cant play and dont know what else to do but reach out the bungie via this forum and hope my issue doesnt fall on deaf ears!

Same happening to me. I haven't had internet for the past few days because I just moved. Got it set up today and jumped on Destiny immediately. Worked good for the first 30-45 min. Now I get the "hawk" error every 5 min. Hopefully the hot fix tomorrow will fix this.

3 RepliesI know your pain and I just fixed it today... I think. I just played for 2 hours. I had to go into my modem/router settings and do a lot. I had to set my Xbox IP address as the DMZ host, had to forward the Microsoft ports and if you do all that and still have problems let me know
