If you looked on the help forums, you'd be able to find one of these threads with your answer. Bungie said that "when you beat Atheon you will instantly get your last two rewards." They also stated, "we will not send you anything after that."

Edited by Omnislash449: 10/4/2014 2:42:35 PMI did look on the help forums, and I think I misunderstood Bungies explanation, I thought that there was a [i]chance[/i] to get gear by killing Atheon, along with getting additional guaranteed gear after the timer running out. Therefore I thought we just got the non-guaranteed gear, and that we didn't get the guaranteed pieces. EDIT: especially since all we got is a shader and some ascendant materials, so we felt very underwhelmed by the gear
