I accidentally bought something for a class that I am not a part of.. I spent 5 weeks trying to save strange coins and now I have 1 and no usable exotics.. Anything you can do? GT: mGx Apocalypse

Ok I understand the accidental buy thing, but what about when you get something you did not buy. Last weekend when xur was at the tower in the bar. I was purchasing the engram exotic, which I understood was a random character drop, that I'm fine with. But when I had clicked on the hunter helmet with the radar mod and purchased it and looked in my inventory I had recieved a warlock helmet what's that about? My arrow was in the center of the helmet as is all my purchases and I recieved a warlock helm????
