I don't really want to promote a post that's in the wrong section, but it's out..
I am very excited about MCC, more than anything I've ever played. (Destiny almost got me as excited).
Since its been brought up; was very curious as to how the ranking system will work. Will It be 4 games with the different rankings in each one or like one ranking throughout all?

I believe I remember reading that it's one combined rank that is similar to halo 2's ranking system

If it's anything like the Halo 4 ranking system it's gonna blow. I got a 50 in BTB and our team would lose a lot and I'd still rank up because I'd get 50+ kills a game. I like the Halo 3 system where you had to work as a team to rank up

Depending how playlists will be setup, you will have a rank for each one. From what I understand, the matchmaking portion will all be bundled together for all games. 343 hasn't announced yet whether multiple games will be played within the same playlists or not. But each playlist will use the H2 ranking system for your level. Hope that answers your question.
