the purpose of science is to understand the world around us using observable facts. if you believe that science is immediate objective truth, then you're missing the point of it completely.

I'm not religious in any way, but people like you make me really frustrated with atheism. You people are turning science into a religion whereby anyone who questions it or doesn't choose to put their faith behind it are stupid. You people love to force science down people's throats but are repulsed when someone tries to do the same with a set of different rules and principles. Science isn't so much the reality that exists, it is merely a different perception of the universe. We see what we want to see and believe what we want to believe, not necessarily what is real. A lot of scientific work is down to theories that can't possibly be answered and can ultimately be proved wrong, just like other theories created millennia ago. Our ways of finding and creating these theories are hugely reliant on the resources we have available to us at present and could easily be proved wrong in 1000 years time.

Could say the same thing about atheists too. Governments of the world are made up of people voted for by the electorate of their country so it should only be natural for the views of the government to be similar to the views of the public (Except for economics and war, kek)

... They're humans too. Just like me, you, or any other person. They have rights just like anyone else (Depending on where they live,) you have opinions that others, like myself, think are stupid, and opinions you think are stupid. Opinions are opinions, but no need to be an ass about it and try to ban clubs where they want to be in a place without being insulted by atheists like you. (No, I'm not saying all atheists, just ones like you.)
