Did they give any indication as to why? Is it your console's servers?

It may not help but when I get the occasional connection error that persists after a minute or two then I will log into my modem through a web browser and restart it. It works literally every time for me. A few times like when a friend can't hear my mic for some reason, or when it'll come up with NAT restrictions or some bs, I just do the restart. Takes a couple minutes but usually I don't have to restart again for the rest of the day and I can play the game.
