Why is it consistently good then when I use a scout or something like that even autos outgun me from a distance lol

That's why bungie said they are nerfing auto range and buffing scout dmg.

I was already having my best games with a scout rifle before the buff. Can't wait to see how good they become and for everyone to start crying that they need nerfed back to oblivion.
