I still don't know how it was originally, just coughing and what not. But it started to get worse. Since then she's been pronounced dead 3 times. Anyways, my whole family was focused on her and no one noticed my grandfather getting sick too. And he started to slowly get worse and we found out he had Alzheimers and etc. and then a couple months ago we found out he had throat cancer and trying to save him would be both a waste of money and time. So we decided to let it run it's course. He used to be very talkative and active but withtin the past year he got very quiet and it was visible that talking was painful. The worst part is that the only reason my grandmother is still alive is so she can take care of him. Once he goes she's going to go too. Continuing on, two nights ago I got a call from my dad saying that he probably wasn't going to make it through the night. So that shock me up. Then yesterday I was talking to my dad and he said that he was still alive, breathing, but he's not aware of his surroundings... It just sucks. I've already said my goodbyes but I can't help to be upset especially when it comes to family that I've seen all the time and used to be so much different.
