ascendant shards drops after new update
I have a question about this new update regarding to ascendant shards drop. Doest this new way of getting them means that they only by some rare chance come out of blue ones or is there still an other way to get them? Cause i'm playing my ass off doing public events and daily missions all day long but so far not one ascendant shard and i'm really getting tired here from being stuck at level 25 for almost 2 weeks now

Edited by StriKeR tB: 10/2/2014 12:21:55 PMIf you're only 25 it sounds like you don't even have all legendary gear, that should be your priority. But if you want shards, do the daily on hard (lvl 24 for 1 shard/energy, lvl 28 for 2). Your first public event of the day also guarantees you a shard/energy, every one after that is RNG.

If your into chest farming and know the spawn locations you can farm chests lol you have like a .5% chance of getting a shard or energy from a chest I got an energy last night on Venus while looking for chests to get spirit blooms.

Got 5 shards yesterday in 4 hours of gameplay. Two of them after i soloed a Walker.

3 RepliesI do the Daily Mission on lv28. I have a lv28 hunter and 26 titan and warlock. I put the weapons from the hunter into locker and give to the other 2 to do the daily on lv28. ascendant shards and energy can be put into the locker, so the other 2 characters are "feeding" ascendant material to the hunter. once hunter is complete, i'll do the same for the other 2. point is, although you can't control if you get shards or energy, you are getting 6 ascendant materials a day. yesterday i got 6 shards from dailies, did 3 public events, got a shard each from those, so 9 total in 24 hours. not too bad. and this can be done every day

7 RepliesYou can get now shards from completing public events (gold tier rating) but has a limitation how much you can get daily tho.

11 RepliesShards are legendary status now, so yeah. Slight chance from blues, better chance from purples. Rewards from strikes are supposed to be better now though, so I'd hit those up in hopes of getting gear or mats. Regardless, you shouldn't be stuck at 25 for [i]two weeks[/i]. Do you at least have all legendary gear? You can get to 27 fairly easy with just that, which is guaranteed through rank and marks.
