Apparently this issue is worse than I thought since some players are already experiencing the effects of what I see on my companion app: [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/71060684/0/0]Help Lost Exotics[/url]. Based on that latter post other players have lost character data and it appears that their characters have been reset to an earlier time.
